Novellas

For some, novellas can be as short as a couple of thousand words, though they usually are between 17,000 and 30,000 words.  So considering that my short stories rarely exceeded that I hava a long way to go if I want to get there.  But publishing books of poetry or novellas or short stories or novel can be a snake pit           and money pit as well which can cost you thousands of dollars even without promise of getting published what with all the hands of different people it has to go though first.  The oher option is self publishing and distribution.  Years a go a guy did just that: slef published and then went to  different locations and shops and asked them to take some on consignment I suppose.  Hey, even J K Rowling's Potter book were rejected about  40 times before she found a publisher.  I guess that means do no give up.
