detected pangs of an incandescent insomniac.

Sleep is but a featherlite gentle kiss on my lips
there, teetering on the cusp of awake
swirling with an (un)recognizable pang
nothing real to allow a muster,
not even a will enough to want or care;
a bitterness,
remains—
as thoughts persist,
in all the gradient grandeur of but one reality
and my own harsh burdens to carry,
So heavy
Heavy and duly just.
within all of my(this) incriminating darkness
