Some cool things were hidden in those leaves, though. We discovered there's been a massive wasp's nest right above our driveway all summer! It's a beauty but I'm kinda glad I didn't know about it.

This is fantastic, K. Every fall I feel like I didn't appreciate it's beauty enough, and before I know it the trees are clinging to the last of their bright foliage. I look forward to winter though. I don't hate it the way I used.

I'm ok with winter, but it is rather long & gray here. I try to feast my eyes on the colours as much as I can before the world goes monochrome.

It is hard to fathom winter without our usual pastimes.... we'll see how it goes, I guess.

I'm jealous all around... fall, winter, spring summer... not much visual change and only bouts of cool, possibly cold weather...that's the FL experience... palm tree monotony.... lmao.
