usurp

within our shared
sacred hallows
your eyes fix,
and lock onto mine;
I follow,
as you usurp
my inner sorrow
with your
perfect embrace,
damn
your
steady grace;
and those fingers,
so strong
in their
gentle trace
of my
lonely
face,
one that's
far from
commonplace,
so say the words
from your lips
to replace
my insecurity's
disgrace;
we still,
when
speechlessness
settles
and
creates an
ease
between us,
that quiet
allows
loneliness
a chance
to fade - to degrade
as you
kiss away
such
vicious scars
of hate
and encase
my soul
in your perfect
musk'd floral
ginger'd
embrace
leaving us
both
silent,
emotionally
sated
f l o a t i n g
into
a
twined combined
devoting
