I need a distraction
Distraction from the world
The world and all its chaos
Chaos brought on by the unknown
The unknown is terrifying
Terrifying yet necessary right now
Right now we need a reset
A reset for our planet
Our planet was collapsing because of us
Because of us so much has died
Died when we could have prevented
Prevented all of it if we cared
Cared enough about others
Others who live and grow here
Here is not just a home for humanity
Humanity has to coexist with so much more
More species that are more deserving
Deserving of this place
Distraction from the world

Good food for thought at his time. Perhaps this planet is getting a reset - for example the reduction of pollution from less traffic and, notably in China, industrial production. There may be a reset in social values. Care and ancillary workers who kept patients and places clean are valued (showed in my country with the weekly 'Clap for Carers and Key Workers') where before they were Cinderellas in society.

we gonna come through this situation for during these times the mind becomes so full of negativity causing us to forget about the postivity that still surrounds us, for there is still some beauty within the world as you have the ability and potentail to create from your mind through your words from thoughts and imagination with pen upon paper let your gift be your distraction...respect dear poetess
