My Girl
I'll name her melody, cause music is my remedy,
this life is a really wild ride,
And you're gonna be confused most of the time,
Clarity I can try to provide, though i dont have all the answers,
I can promise I'll always be by your side, till the day I die.
Never put up high walls to block everyone out,
but be cautious enough and aware of the demons that lurk about.
Dont let society tell you who to be,
You're not a competition to be judged,
Dont let any man/woman make you an ornament for show and tell,
You must know your self worth, I'll remind you every day,
It doesn't matter what you wanna do in life and who you choose to be,
Block out all the negative things they have to say.
So many things I can think of that ill wanna tell you...
But I'll be patient and wait till the time comes for me to want to have you here,
I just hope I'm a good enough parent,
Cause you'll always be my world,
...well this is only if I ever have a girl☺️😂
