Renting dreams
We all stage our nightmares
We’re just Renting dreams
Till we can afford our own
Going around trusting fools
That cheat a way in
Others Too afraid too
Playing around with others flames
Burned so sue them for the pain
Some are so talented
they hide it scared It won’t be great
fail once put themselves on blame
We all want to be artist
living in the big city of la
Be someone dreaming all day
We all just want a catchy name
buying into this big dream
but sell our selfs so short
That are daydreams fade
Nightmares are free with
stress and catastrophe
Dreams are costly but
come with the mess of
Free time plenty of money
No job but Bills paid still
happy and healthy
what’s left organized
To the template
If you can afford dreams
Then your Life and talent
Will synchronize to fame
We all want to be artist
living in the big city of la

I never wanna be in a city like LA... blah !
I dream of nature, and vast masses of land that hasn’t been touched by the greed of corporate sociopaths. However, you’ve captured the essence of those who wish to dream of pretentious materialistic stuff.
Stuff, that has very little meaning when one reaches the end of their road !

That’s the idea,I know the skyscrapers there don’t have a heaven button in the elevator, but a lot of movies/books have a plot of moving to California to be famous and wanted to write about it
