Somewhere In My Mind

On those sleepless nights
I lay in bed
I gather up all my thoughts
Inside my head
Breathing
I begin to relax
As I cease the flow
Of my existence
Leaving behind
The insanity of the world
To indulge in the
Moment of clarity
Breathing
Letting myself go
As I begin to breakdown
Forfeiting all my beliefs
Of who I am
Who I was
Who I’ll be
Breathing
My spirt rises
And set sail in the breeze
I dive into
The depths of my thoughts
Lost in the vast
Open skies
Swimming through
All their lies
Leaving my
Sorrows and tragedy
Behind
Breathing
I arrived at a place
That welcomed
Me with
Sleeps embrace
Sending ripples
Of peace
Across my soul
And a smile
On my face
Somewhere in my mind
