Forces poised in opposition
Hopelessly bound
They define the other by what they are not
Asymmetry and Symmetry clash in broken fractals
Entropy and Order weigh time's inclination on variable scales
Death and Life converge in every supernova...
One ends that the other may know abundance
A patch of uranium forms soil rich in potential mutational diversity
A tree falls soundlessly in the forest and fungi silently rejoice
Particle and antiparticle dance on the verge of annihilation
Love and Indifference vie for our attention, and our souls.
A motion, emotion,
which moves us more?

A lot of my parents went into this. Clashing, explosive relationships feel epic in scale.

I particularly like this line - whilst there is obvious frailty (as in instability) there is at the same time a huge strength in being able to walk that fickle verge. Indeed, we probably all walk it each day much closer to annihilation that we appreciate.
