Too Far for Leaping.
A one way street of thought I think,
they flash away through bone of skull,
and quicker than fast eyes can blink,
the Einstein smarts, the slow Rew dulls.
Some think thoughts onto ocean gulls
to wave them on, across, dreamy seas,
a vision of pure romance for sure
but I wish my thought flight for deeper needs...
A massless particle I need, I ink
thinking, a neuron's neutrino, mass null,
and tachyons, massless, a slim link
to ruminate round thought sift and cull
as photon's spark in mind, I...

what is innocence except
a monkey on a rack
or in a hole
observed by scientific eyes
bespectacled and sheer
and hands above a golden watch
delineating notes
on how the monkey’s eyes reflect

Penguins Underwater
a nanoscopic universe
within within within
difficult to imagine
to start we must begin
expanding what is tiny
slipping in between
molecules and atoms
into a nano stream
of electrons ionizing
in currents flowing by
while awed by a surprising
ability to fly
like penguins underwater
or dolphins in the air
in the nano universe
we go everywhere
pulled by electricity
pushed magnetically
nano bengs here and there
flow along as we
become much more conscious ...

Spinning towards the Dark
Science is finding some strange stuff
lurking inside tiny atoms,
Why' there don't seem room enough
for protons, neutrons and electrons
without leptons, muons and quarks
crammed in like those Dolly Parton's
now, I'm spinning towards a lark.
When they've stripped atoms to the buff
and found the elusive tachyon,
and the one which keeps us handcuffed
to the ground, the glue, graviton,
my hope is that they'll keep searching on
till they find some tiny spark
of the Chronon and the Morton
these, fast spin us out of the park....

Other Minds
Tis in the gene where being lies
or so I've heard said,
it's the stuff that makes us alive
it also makes us dead!
It compelled us out of oceans
to crawl up on the beach,
gave us bipedal motion
and hands with which to reach,
out to the stars and far beyond
where our being bides,
with thought to wonder, needs be gone,
to seek for other minds.

This Brief Glow.
The atom lives forever
or so I've heard said,
ten to the thirty-fifth power
it were in a book what I read.
Now, we are built from atoms
bound in our body mass,
on death, released, what happens
why', they are put out to grass.
Or wrought to air, composed as such,
and from this mortal blow,
free forever, as I clutch
to this brief glow.

No Stars in the Sky
living within a red star's embrace
no stars overhead through which to race
no cosmic dreams, no SciFi
always a purple glow in the sky
believing all of which we're aware
is all there is, it's everywhere
there's nowhere else, nothing to see
we were so wrong, ignorantly
twisting ideas to compensate
for any strange celestial fate
like rocks from the sky, meteorites
two moons and polar electrical lights
dancing like fairies in the air
counter-rotating everywhere
shimmering curtains green almost blue ...
