Trance
 Enhanced
  as nature
does her dance
within the depths
of the inner dimensions
 eternal extensions
 the infinite invention
 light years beyond reality
  while concurrently
  coloring the cosmos
   with the rainbows
    in our soul..
We soar
and soar
always searching for more
never learning to ignore
temptation
or that sweet stimulation satisfying
the senses at any expense
don't wanna feel tense
gotta get a glimpse
of that suspense

Schizophrenic tendencies

 Sullied since infancy

  Dominated by this dependency
    on everything
 from currency to plastic surgery

Our will power
scarily sparse
"Might as well move to mars"
Forget this world of ours eh?
Is this what we say?
maybe we pray
for the day
we can run away
into the depths of space
cause we ruined the human race
"so its off to another place"
with no trace of civilization
What should we be doing though?
Should we be doing anything?

Maybe we should be dancing and singing
under the stars
on the planet
we were placed upon
for whatever purpose or purposeless reason

We've committed treason against the earth
What's it worth to us?
What price are we willing to pay
for the mistreatment of her beauty and and wonder?
how much more shall we plunder?

Beneath the roaring thunder
we wildly wander
around doing anything
we can think of
while looking for love
or we go underground
to not be found
being who we are deep down
Where the hell am I going with this?
Happens way to often..
Back to the enhanced trance
doing a poetic dance
still in a life devoid of
romance never even took a chance
No plans either
I just stay trapped in the trance
lost in time
Out of my mind
joy I can't find
too many thoughts
clouding my view
can't see through to you
Just caught up
in fear and fading self worth
a jerk to myself to often
I need to lighten up
I say as I light one up
