A Murder in Snow
( After Emily Dickinson )
A Murder in Snow -
perched upon white
thousands of crow -
gather to formulate
A Murder in the night -
this patterned death
from windows we admire -
their silent form of life

Wow! A blackbird gatherimg of such magnitude would definitely constitute the death of what we would regard as a Wiinter Wonderland. This is a delicious visual treat, the likes of vanilla ice cream sprinkled with "semi-sweet" chocolate chips, for it carries a slight bitterness. Lovely and well done! ❤📝

An enjoyable read! And I particularly liked that "Murder" in the first line is also the collective noun for a group of crows.
One small novice observation: "thousand of crow" didn't sound right, because my brain wants to say "crows", but this would maybe mar the rhyme. I suppose that you could also put "Snows" too.

Thank you for the suggestion. A thousand crows and thousands of crows would be grammatically correct. I took liberty with this because thousands denotes plural of a singular collective noun, as in thousands of bison. I'm unsure if crow could properly pass as an irregular plural form of noun in English standards; however, I did like the way it sounded so utilized it as such.
While it's more than likely incorrect, i.e one deer two deer, one sheep two sheep - one crow two crow, it's difficult to determine with so many exceptions. A little liberty never hurt any poetry!
Thank you for your comment; you have a good eye.
