A darker farewell

I've confused my own demons,
for I've perfected the darkness.
I've embraced every weakness,
So their weapons are harmless.

I run around them in circles,
with a rope of their lies.
I expose the eternal
As I say my goodbyes.

What a mess I have made,
choking evil to death.
But their dept has been payed
as I lay them to rest.

Their remains will be scattered,
and I await their return.
For I can hear distant chatter,
but now they aren't my concern.
