How do we co-exist?
When true colours reveal rot
And mistrust runs rampant
How do we love?
When casual chat becomes anger
And news becomes war
How do we kiss goodnight?
When sharing becomes shock
And lovers become strangers
How do we heal?
When trauma abounds
And is met with denial
How do we live as one?
When my shame hits yours
And both are magnified
How do we even breathe?

If this were about lovers they could have a fight and hen make-up sex. Though trust would be difficult!

Sadly, make-up sex doesn't really heal deep rifts in intimacy.
