Broken people
make good puppets
With broken bones
and broken spine
there is no strength
to hold yourself up
so you need the guy with the strings
to keep you straight
for you will collapse by yourself

Yep, so true, and said crisply in so few words ... the whole system from cradle to grave is set up to turn people into sheeple.

Love the poem! I wonder if "guy with the strings" could be replaced with "puppeteer"-- might flow a little more. Great central imagery. Thanks!
