BREATHE (II) (6-30-96, Galveston Island, Texas)
breathe
empty of
all
reflection
be still
in stillness
soft
calm stillness
still
as rock
rock
that breathes
tracing air
in and
out of
you
like canyons
and mountain
tops
where in
between
empty plains
will lay
wide open
for you
wide
as any
sea
quietly awaiting
within
inviting you
softly into
the peaceful
flow
of all
eternity
as you
simply
breathe in
the expansive
formless
oneness
you
already are
but may have
long forgotten
yet now may
become
more consciously
aware of
again
through
your conscious
breath alone
so
gently close
your eyes
and simply
breathe
