Among the animals and insects/ (arachnids), the fierce strength of the females has been recognized as a force that deserves respect...(even to the point of some deadly consequences--LOL!) couldn't help smiling when i read about the praying mantis. That pathetic male was in way over his head.....( sorry--couldn't help it! Hee! Hee! ) :P

But now....it's definitely time to realize that women are strong! We have the Power! And David with your remarkable humor--as always--these pieces pay tribute to this strength!

I was and am exactly like you in that respect - publishing can feel like a pipe dream - but them you can self publish on the net, say through someone like Lulu.com - you should think about this, your poetry is seriously good enough :-)))
