Vex
Once again you're twisting my words
Your tongue cuts like knives
Tyrant of words
Feel the vexing weight, the burden they bring, a millstone you can't shake
call me a thorn in your side but dear grievance you are my dead weight, I won't let you weigh me down
let's make this painless and quick
Regret but without any remorse, I'm done letting you run your course, I'll cut you off at the vein
there's only so much you can take, there's only so much I can fake before my ceramic smile cracks and breaks
These words, they cut so much deeper, but you don't care you've made that clear
Words of distaste leave a bitter taste, I can still feel it heavy on my tongue from your coup de grace
One day you will be drowning in consequences but I'll be building up my fences
You should prioritize but you're too busy cutting ties
For now I'll lie alone and suffer some more
Your arms are no longer a place I can call home
Since the last two years you put someone else in my place
Funny how replacement was your biggest fear
It won't be long before you're lies come to chase,
A never ending toll and wage you will bargain and wave
A solid oath you can't break
tell me how much it cost to get back your soul
Your tongue cuts like knives
Tyrant of words
Feel the vexing weight, the burden they bring, a millstone you can't shake
call me a thorn in your side but dear grievance you are my dead weight, I won't let you weigh me down
let's make this painless and quick
