Heavy Weight (II)
Do the scars know their names?
Do they know the threat they trickle and heave?
The heavy weight that consumes you till you shatter and break.
Push comes shove fueled by hate
Grab the horns, twist and break
Feed the rage, a new war to wage
Your aggression has become your new found obsession.
The hate escalates to a new recession.
Sometimes we are prone to crack and say things we know we can't take back, to be abrupt and brash but stutter and crash
Spit the fire, hash it out, do you even remember what I was so mad about?
Swallow up my words, try to muffle them out, choke on the bitterness poised in each vowel, the fowl venom hidden in each syllable.
Defile and deprive, try to tear me down.
Pull me down from my pedestal, I'll claw my way right back to the top.
I'm a wicked force of nature you can't stop.
Build me up, tear me down tell me how I never meant shit to you.
