In Rememberance of Yesterdays

In remembrance of yesterdays spent unraveling the mystery in your usefulness I bow my head in shame of secrets given without hesitating lips.
Stop to pause in filthy moments best covered in the sheets, or so the bidder bids me in his farewells.

Claustrophobic tendencies those breaths seeping the cracks in the dusty exterior have under lock and key, as so the ghosts haunt to beg of me....

Freedom in my giving to be the phantom of intriguing notes. In distain of all those yesterday's spent in hold of something cold.

Hiding was the object of affection, burrowing the emotions with the wants and needs. Buried in my resentment fists no longer pack a punch when my words are never spoken.

Microscopic was I to lay where you stand, holding the key to the box of forget me nots and keep them secured in my hatred for the user of my chewed up self assurance.

Spat on what was to keep the tables turning, acid was that that poured on my hope in life and love and though one tries to keep on moving the path behind remains ever...always burning.

The music hums now...that eerily familiar tune and my voice has not a sound to raise the words.

Cursed to suffocate in this coffin rotting in flawed silence, melting the skin of my thoughts over the chance of change.

Crossroads they were plenty, many turns to bail the straightened path.Veering was a temptress leading my heart to puncture time and again.

Filters hesitated my speech in contrast of the scrawled hand gliding across a page. Spoken was silenced and ink was all that's left.

Mimic was the tune I read the same, always the same premise in a doormats words. Speaking on emotions unheard.

Bruised and battered dying in the blood of the seams, my bindings were worn and tattered, but my eye was better keen.
