Drive for love
I once knew a girl
She had a twinkle in her eye
She spent all her mind
on this one special guy
She'd been hurt
She'd been lied to
She needed time
Time to think it through
This guy had been rejected
He needed a sign
He'd flash a quick smile
To see if their eyes might align
One day, on a whim
This guy did decide
To grab a dozen roses
And a bottle of wine
He dashed to his car
Waiting no more
He thought to himself
"I'll just knock on her door"
The wind in his hair
A smile on his face
On his moonlit ride
Through the night he raced
Never did he expect
Under the starry night sky
Before he arrived
A drunk driver would take his life

Wow what an impact ending! It is true though we often let our thoughts hold us back rather than going after what we want until it's too late 😢
