Silent Assault
Turn the other cheek, they say.
Take the high road, okay.
I’m in, almost all the way!
Sometimes…
I feel the need to tear off my skin
The need to feed the sin
Expose the screaming demon within
Silent rage...
It knows your secrets
I want it to keep them
For the pain will be grievous
Verbal venom…
You test, torment, and tease
Until the monster is released
Begging please on your knees
Mental madness…
Scratch, claw, and rip at your eyes
Trying, desperately to close your mind
But it’s too late, time to pay for your crimes
Regret and repent...

Awesome! Glad you like it, D. I don't feel anger or rage all that often, and even when I do it's mild. But, I'm sure to embellish on paper!

I think we all have a secret hidden demon inside, sometimes we listen to it and sometimes we don't. Must say though it keeps life interesting :)
