Paradise Lost
If only I could...
Swim great depths of the ocean with mermaids,
lay on large rocks to sing and in sunlight bathe.

Run wild with unicorns to the fierce beat of my heart,
be free from humans and worlds apart.

Dance naked and carelessly with nymphs all day,
allow sweet melodies to carry me far away.

Use me to heal
Your heart
is my hearts only desire,
we can cuddle up by a cracklin' fire.
I feel your pain
I know that you're broken,
take all that you need from me
as my token.
I'll grasp you tightly
and hold you together,
even though I know
you won't want me forever.
Let's just live in this moment
forget what's ahead,
hush now broken boy
enough has been said.
My dear, sweet boy
take pleasure 'til your mended,
my spirits free to use
so go ahead and lend it.

Once sparkling bright blue eyes

A once lit fire refuses
to come out and play

Loving
Joking and living
now seem so very long ago
In the looking glass
a hollowed out reflection of someone

Possibilities Lost
Hiding away, lost in this big, unbeknown world.
Cutting people off, because interaction is too hard.
It's like having food in your mouth that you can't quite swallow.
A thought in your mind that you can't quite recall.
Something up high that you just can't reach.
So you give up and watch others swallow, recall and reach...

Putting down roots
Here we go he's gone and done it again,
yep apparently he's in love.
swears that she's the one,
sent from the heavens above.
He's known her for all of two minutes,
but apparently she's the one?
Can't remember the last ones name,
but yep that one's surely gone.
When will he learn he's a fool in love with being in love and searching for a passion that lasts?
Seems he's stuck on a 3 month glitch,
while those with knowledge are beyond rich.
Real contenders know lust and passion can...

People & Love well spent
Okay so self love is number one
but then there are people...

People who we interact with
and share our experiences
♡
Some of them meaningless
some of more importantance
♡
From the waitress in the coffee shop
yawning her pretty little head off
♡
To the ones more actively involved
in our far from perfect little lives
♡
It seems everyone has a role to play;
♡
Be it big or small ...
but then there are people...
♡
People who we interact with
and share our experiences
♡

Risky Love
Give me your heart and
I swear to protect it
For I could never hurt
a heart that mirrors mine
Perhaps the trust
will come with time
Your heart will become
my very own shrine
I promise to be gentle
with it, loving and kind
We both hate the fakery
and refuse to be clones
Except the similarity
of having skin and bones
So why do we go on
pretending to fit in?
Surely we are denying
and living in sin?
Perhaps we are two halves
each begging to be whole
Loving one another
Should be our one true goal...

Dear Girl Just Stop!
Dear girl just stop!
Stop feeling down
stop feeling blue
Quit staring at his quotes
looking for a clue
Stop trying to translate
the music he's sharing
Quit him because
he's not so caring
Just grab a clean slate
rid some from your plate
Girl please don't worry
that
dull
sickly
aching
feeling
will pass in a hurry
You'll soon find peace
or respite at least

A love reply
I can't let go of this life that I've built
My family comes first
Can't bear the burden of guilt
My head and my heart do not agree
This is the conflict, why can't you see?
I do overthink
but my thoughts keep me safe
I can't up and run
so I'm stuck in this place
Sensing my pain
still you wish to feed
But two negative energies
is not what we need
I've thought about telling you
the secrets that I hold
but my head warns me
One day you'll grow cold
All that would be left
