Girl at the Beach

I discovered her at the beach
the wind blowing through her hair
sand on her feet
only thinking about how beautiful she was
built up the courage to talk to her
to my surprise we spent the day speaking until sunset
got her name and number in hopes of continuing the conversation

the next day she looked even more gorgeous
short shorts with a tank top on
me with my white T and swim trunks
despite my style choice, I was still able to bring the charm
we dipped down into the ocean
our hands getting frisky underneath the crystal water
letting me know everything with that longing look in her eyes
I didn't want to waste anymore time
never quite making it to the motel room
we made love in the back of her old beat down car

might have just been a onetime thing
but it’s one I’ll always remember
I did think about tracking her down
though it’s probably better this way
to have a crazy fling with a perfect stranger
feeds the soul to say the least
and hey, who knows
we might meet again one day
anything’s possible
