Closed my eyes
gave up my shouts with his
burying them all
within pillow soft
Remembering every
detail witnessed when
watching him go lovingly
over the edge
Just so I'd know all he felt
without imaginative thought
when his ride came to an end

There's something beautiful in being able to see with closed eyes, through memory, how he looks when reaching that moment. Beautifully written :)

Whether a marathon or sprint the elation as he crosses that finish line is glorious...a tingle explosion with each unfettered release...oh fountain of ecstasy. Rose thank you for remembrances so thrilling. Brava!
