Broken Souls
so many broken souls stand before me
looking into each other's souls thru blurry teary eyes
fake smiles unrecognizable slipping from reality
reaching for another's heart yet none responding
walking down paths in life that are unstable
looking all directions at crossroads
not knowing wisely which turn to take
knowing the wrong one will prolong our destiny
whatever we were suppose to find within ourselves
in empty chambers of our once luving hearts
minds wandering thru dark corridors of our souls
hoping tomorrow we might feel anything ~ anything at all
if only we can realize the most valuable person to us ~ is us
most answers we seek from others luv and support
are actually invisible within ourselves till one day we awaken
(Inspiration ~ broken souls I feel and luv,

Hey Adam......you're write along with anothers heart that I feel greatly made me think.......it awakened feelings within me I thought were gone......then I realized I was crying but it was for me........something inside of me that hasn't healed.......honored for the RL add on......purple luv & hugs xo :)

Very wise sweet Flower. All too often one seeks exterior solutions where none exist. They can only be found in one's soul and heart. That's the importance of faith, seems to me. Excellent work.

Hey Crow........I've been in that place searching for anothers heart to hold mine and noone was there.....not the one I wanted anyway......I sunk to a non disfucntional place......till I saw into my own soul and awakened my heart to keep beating......thank you my precious friend for sharing your thoughts with me......purple luv & hugs xo :)

I like this a lot G! Not only do I closely identify with every word, but I wrote a poem almost two years ago with the same title. Interestingly you commented on hat poem. If I didn't know you wrote it for someone else, I would have thought it was for me. Been going through all of this ever since the election! Excellent ink!!!
