(bet you thought I didn't remember)

I do not know of your demise
except there's no you to be read
only words carved upon my memory
memories that will never be forgotten
some good, some bad but always lingering
not sure you will ever read this
since you've vanished completely

feelings embedded deep within this soul
needing to be released outside my hearts whispers
you will never know the ever lasting impact
you've left upon my life since we crossed paths
so many words I always felt but held them tight
perhaps that's why I still feel them so deeply
they'll always be unspoken, an unwritten storm
