Escape From The Inconsistencies
[/font]A wave washes over while the sun
dies behind the curtain
[/font]
A single grain of sand falls while
a man is slaughtered on the dirty streets
[/font]
A genius is certain while an
astronaut braves the heat
[/font]
A politician breathes poison into
the king's ear, Spelling his doom
[/font]
A tragic hero, An unapologetic
plague, An unrelenting flow of rage
[/font]
A savior finds his tomb, Rolls
away the molded rock to find his reflection cowering
[/font]
Acid rain cleanses the child while
the rich are shielded from the shower
[/font]
Send a bullet through my own head,
To escape from the inconsistencies

Send a rose to the downtrodden,
and admire the broken smile
[/font]
Send an eagle to the White House
but a dove to Detroit
[/font]
Bring a gun to church, Bring an
hourglass to battle
[/font]
Bring gold to an orphanage and
silver to an empty field at midnight
[/font]
Burn through to the other side
before they can consume your heart
[/font]
Unless it's too late...then we who

Your imagery could inspire Hollywood movies.
But, it's amazing just to write for oneself and others' enjoyment, isn't it?
