Divorce of the Sun and Moon
There was a time when the light of my mind was so bright I could see the roads of the neurons traveling from its origin to its destination. The alternate routes were just as visible and I could re-route traffic to a more organized and economical pattern to give the shortest length from the two points, allowing faster recall. As it continued, and it seemed to go well, the light changed its course to shine upon other areas to fulfill other needs, such as monetary systems, social systems, and sexual systems. These areas were highly congested with only one route to choose from seemingly very little area to create new pathways. In the time of observing the same roads over and over, the moon takes its slow walk onto the stage to reflect every bit of the memory and cast its shadow in its wake. The dimness took way for the darkness where it is more difficult to see from where my actions stem. It has been a long night and I cautiously step into the void wondering how long the sin will be away from the sun.
