Unconditionally
Heart brakes
Then accelerates
Speeding onward
Before crashing
Exploding in a blaze of fire
I'll burn
I'll incinerate
I'll take it gladly
If it means its not too late
Then I'll do whatever it takes
I said I loved you unconditionally
I hope you'll do the same for me
With my broken wings
And trashed halo
Wicked heart and soul
Flying with me hasn't been easy
I don't think I'm worth it
You'd probably be better without me
Yet I can't shake the feeling
Of all our history and our memory
I want to keep writing
Writing the story of us
Hoping the end would be
"Till death to us part"
But what's in your heart?
Have I pushed it too far this time?
Baby If I could I'd rewind
Change everything as long as you're mine
Your heart
Was ripped apart
It's slow torture to know
I'm the reason for it
The fact that you've been through the shredder
Let me try to make it better
If I can't make you happy
Then set me free
But just know
I love you unconditionally
If I could kiss away your pain
If your happy place is still the same
Just come here , dammit
Because I'm yours

Love overrides and squashes fear of loss with accountability. I've been here before. I've found out the hard way, when you've gone too far, there's no taking back what you've done or regret, no matter that you both still love each other. The harder style you used to convey this piece and feelings made me appreciate and reread your poem. I like your poem because it bleeds true and you tell it bluntly with being sentimental. You know, from "the harder side of poetry". It's obvious I felt this, thank you.
