"I love livin' in the city"
I rolled downtown craggy backstreet
just to have a look around
admiring your grey old school
buildings, this along with
red brick leavings, was harsh
ancient magic remembrance
so it tis, concrete jungle
not pearled inlay but pure gray
as the thief priest of always
stands ready to hand out freedom
smiling toothsome grins, I chuckle
as Satanism blares from a bygone era
soon I was heading west
of all the soft places to fall
this wasn't it, but memories
it did bring, being amongst
the old haunts, spooky at times
long in tooth, it makes You feel
and out of the corner of Your eye
there, you catch, fleck's
of light like bellied dancers
shimmering in stardust
the road opens...
as lee says
"I'm going home"
