You watched me as I fell
You look at me and there's no way you'd see,
The darkness that I buried underneath.
The kindness in my soul makes it feel like I'm almost whole again.
Baby you'd never understand.
How long I felt broken and hopeless.
Look me in the eyes and tell me you cannot see,
the hurt inside of me.
I tried to hide it well
Trapped inside a cell of my own fears
There's no way out of here.
That's another fear.
I'll be trapped inside a broken mind for the rest of my life.
How could I ever...

Drowning in the alcohol that they consume
He made letting go seem easy.
He doesn't even miss me.
I blame it on the whiskey.
Pictures are deceiving.

Just another dying star in the dark of night
I feel like a bright star amongst a world filled with light.
I'm engulfed by the darkness and no one even noticed my light going out.

Letting go of your happy ever after
Life is not a fairytale,
dreams were meant for sleeping and wishes upon the stars they don't come true.
If they did,
I would still have you.
I hope you find happiness and live the rest of your life,
with a loving wife.
I wish you all the best,
honestly.
But a part of me used to long to be the key,
to your happy ever after.
When suddenly I wondered if I ever even mattered.
My faith in you was shattered.
I was reminded that life is not a fairytale, dreams are made for sleeping and...

You are worthy!
Suicide.
When you hear that word what comes to mind.
Is it a lost loved one or you that wants to end your life?
I know you hear this all the time, but I mean it when I say that you will be alright.
I can't fight your battles, but I promise to stand by you while you fight this war.
You are worth so much more, than the darkness in your mind.

Lying awake while the rest of the world is sleeping.

Birthday wishes
Birthday candles with a flickering flame.
Holds a hearts most desirable wishes waiting to be claimed.
So hold your breath and close your eyes.
Don't say the words aloud for it should be a surprise.
So no one will know the painful truth of your hearts desires.
Be careful what you wish for, you never know what will transpire.
Buried within my broken heart's cavity,
There is a darkness hidden inside of me.
Being alive in the future was one thing I never thought I'd be.
Now here I am 7 years...

Latley I've been feeling Homesick for a place I can feel safe in my skin.
Words are your favorite weapons to use.
Simply because it's invisible abuse.
A perfect way to leave your mark.
Leaving behind only mental scars.

Broken promises
It fucked me up when they walked out the door.
It knocked me to the floor,
when they broke every promise they swore they would keep.
The loss of them and the future we planned hurts me so deep.
Missing them drains me and makes me feel weak.
How could I miss people who wanted to change me?
Don't feel pitty.
I'm just another sad person in the world that can't sleep.
