UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

Bloody perv
Long since am I
removed from youth
I'm grey of hair
and long of tooth.
My ways are set
to deep to change
I'm not the kind
to rearrange,
to fit into
your idea of old
I hate the sun
and fear the cold
I'd rather sit
inside and frown
watch channel four
and countdown.
I like to sit
on bench with friends
watch that young woman
who garden tends,
I'll sit and wait
for her to pass
and steal a peek
at her young ass
a bitter smile
a careful glance
another try if
I get the chance.

OBSERVATIONAL POEM

The consumer (Macca D)
Frightening is it's majestic freight
sitting there an unknown weight
McDonalds cartons on the floor
pizza-hut kfc and more,
this wretched beast that consumed
from its throne never exhumed.
What brought about this cataclysm ?
The very peak of consumerism.
Here to wash comes the nurse
next I guess will be the hearse
although only three men came
now one's phoning for a crane
better still cause that's not all
here's the builder to remove the wall.
While stood outside and eating chips
three small boys with slender hips
they laugh...

I write these words
deep in thought
to share ideas,
and teach you naught
what you take
from what I write
is up to you
just don't take fright

and hide them away
learn to trap them on the page
for another day.

Day dreaming
Sleep so sound
sleep so well
I'm in my own
sleeping hell
it comes and goes
from time to time
but when it comes
so sublime.
Mostly its gone
not to be seen
so while I'm awake
I sit and dream.
Of all the things that I miss
your gentle hug
your tender kiss
but more than these
that in my heart I keep,
what I miss most
is a good nights sleep.

I'm in my own
sleeping hell

Free will
Slender smoke dance in the air
with natural grace
and willing flair.
Although your smell
is not so great,
it's not bad enough
to earn the hate
given out
by the pious horde's
with evil looks;
tongues like swords.
Driving out
as we “should”
from our home
in the pub,
where we could talk
and share a smoke
laugh, drink and take
another toke
upon our slender
cancer stick
that makes us cough,
then make us sick.
Now those folks
they can rejoice
they've taken away

City life
Midnight chimes
this cities beat,
the myriad sounds;
a million feet,
walking out on their way,
to here; to there
who can say.
The street lamps shining,
all around
this cities pretty
twilight gown.
Water trickles in the gutter,
Beggars here;
stumble, mutter.
Foxes rats
sit by the pail
young men singing,
drinking ale.
As ladies try to ply their trade
their pimp ass daddies
stand in shade
nightclubs strip-clubs
pubs and bars,
taxis buses
trains and cars
a thousand...

Of writing things
and shaping verse,
tell of kings
or tell of worse.
Tell us all
your sweet little tale
have not gall
nor bitter sway,
make your words
if you can
dance like swords
of fighting men.
Shape the sound
and make it nice
let all around
hear your device,
put their minds
where you will
be not unkind
be not ill.
Tell of all
that you can see
make your tales tall
and imaginary,
make us clap
and our hearts beat
our fingers snap

Sign your name,
The deal is done, your soul is mine,
Here we are now,
You are mine, Lets see you squirm.
But after all you are mine.
Tear-drops, to late dear,
To far now,
Has this all gone, my sugar.
Your screaming, is silent,
To them all,
They wont hear it.
Your anguish,
Your sorrow,
Your misery,
And your tears,
They don't mean a thing,
Cause you signed your name,
Now your soul is mine,
And your pain is worthless,
But it's pleasure to me,
I feel the warmth,
