Believe In Me
If you could believe in me.
Then so would I.
But you may not know there's time.
It's not to late.
Because I didn't even realize.
My heart.
You took it by surprise.
So just let me say.
Never mind those who chitter-chatter.
They always seem to lie.
Well it's just wrong.
Interference causing static life.
Till emotions are dry and frail.
Tearing life apart.
But me, I'm to strong.
To be broken or shattered.
Under loves poisonous spell.
My loves still a fighter.
Swinging both hammers well.
Adorned in pure white silk. ...

Beautiful Jerk
Let me put my heart in a dark cold place to freeze.
With a few bumps and scrapes in foiled armor stichings and string.
No, I haven't died.
I'm doing fine, thanks.
So don't be alarmed on account of me.
Don't get bent, take it with ease.
Because often times I'm here praying silently.
Loaded for bear, fully armed.
While blood runs from my wooden knuckles to my buckled leather knees.
Facing storms.
Who'd love nothing better than doing me harm.

Without Someone To Love
Life has become a meaningless voyage.
Lost in the silence.
Of mental static noise.
Life unfulfilled.
A kings ransom.
Less it's royalty of joys.
But It all means nothing to me.
Without someone to love.
Would you love my invisibility.
Hiding in plain sight.
So blatantly unseen my ghost.
Tormenting his pride.
Loneliness is a slow death.
I've willingly accepted to apply.

Dear God,
In the beginning I hated everything.
The pusher man.
The beggers man's hand.
It was never clean.
Lazy drunken bums.
All before the tender age of seventeen.
Addictions of the reaper man.
Their dirty needles used.
But seldom ever clean.
The dealers thugs.
The chalked outlines.
From murdering slugs.
Wrapping up their bloody scenes.
The preacher's man's fool.

Have you heard the deal.
That comes down from up above.
Some say it hurts like hell.
But trust me when I tell ya.
It's really love.
How much would it cost.
A penny for the simple things.
A million dollars for your thoughts.
A diamond ring.

Choking On The Blues
I sit here and I wait.
Looking down old roads of the past.
But it's to late.
To rebuild the path.
Once made of steel.
Now just broken glass.
That cuts me when I feel.
The memories can never be forgotten.
So I'll pray for the day.
And run from it's wrath.
And whatever the price.
I can never pay.

Oh! It sticks to me.
Like a stain.
I can't get it out.
From underneath my skin.
Everything it does to me.
I feel in pleasure of it's pain.
And I fall heavy.
To it's rien.
It temps this man's lust.
Enough to rattle.
A weaker man's brain.
It's never in a hurry.
To get close enough.

Here in the silence ..
Losing emotional upper hand ..
Life's been passing me by ..

Of hourglass sands ..
