Birds Flutter in the pale sky
Damn they remind me of me
Flutter left
Flutter right
I miss smoking, I miss sucking in air that
tastes different from everything else.
I stare at the picture,
I love the face,
but I hate the face when it
appears in a differently photographed place.
Flutter to the left
Smoke all night,
Stare at the woman,
Look in the eyes,
I don't have a light
Sing with the birds, Or whatever...Right?

Self Saturation
The Minds Wandering
The Eyes Shut
The feeling of terror
in our collective guts.
Scampering about in a sphere shaped cell,
Screaming for freedom and for dreams we yell.
Roaming the earth like blind rats,
We are so sure that were right
But we waste our lives.

Silent.
Silence drowns like liquid lead,
hot and heavy it pours into the depths of my head
A nest of bats live deep in my throat,
Words so dark they make me choke
Are You awake?
Did my love put You to sleep?
Are You listening?
Silence pours from that green brown eye
the most beautiful eye
like a planet passing behind water falls of cinnamon
so Her eye hides behind her fragrant hair.
Nothing is something, something is no,
I gave You My trust.
Yours You keep.

Truly a Little
My father He grimaced
My Mother She cried
Little was certain the day that I died.
The poet has spoken,
The priest has anointed,
The King has commanded : Let the Child Be Reborn!
Little is certain now that I live
My heart is to serve
My arms are to give.
A Little to love; Less to seek Knowledge.

Old Heart Loud Soul
If love we share,
and friends we be.
There be no reason,
for I to live without thee.
In separate places our love will flourish,
if only you promise our friendship to nourish.
I shall paint the skies with the sounds of your soul.
We shall feel the light our minds together have shed.
You are mine, for you my heart does grow old.
