This book is so rich in mythic language, historical context and human interest - all of which I love, as a poet.

I'm usually a reader of non-fiction, especially history, with a favourite area of Dark age Europe, but this appeal to my longing for the wilde woode!

LOVE Kingsolver! Have you read The Poisonwood Bible yet? That should be required reading!
