#NoPoo for Gabriel Book two -Invictus-
perish-able
(We broken hearts beat stonier....)
As a promise
once fiercely flourished
sacred and burning
trust blossomed,
made of fullest wonder
distant shores decorated
in sprightly shared wishes
whispered hush tones
whimsically chimed
from tongues, so sincere
we lost souls beckoned
becoming of one
senses acutely in tune
hearts expanded
contracted, easier
beats bellowing joy, abundant
siphoning goodness
into sapphire magic
known begets known
indestructible,
for certain and all
indulged truthful surrender
we conjoined minds
of bond and brilliance
nothing could
every want
or dare destroy
united and ardent
we loyal and faithful
made of steely hide
......
Just, one pebble
tiniest fodder
achingly, unrestrained
slowly sandswept
seeping
scheming grains
irritating
eyes
burdensome in
total blindness
hollowing out
hope
O' this awful tearing
crumbling
divided devastation
rife, is the residue
of brutality
whence betrayal
becomes
purity of loss in focus
the throes,
are death
a mythos of pain
souls riven
of damnation
ornately twisted
sunken dreams
weighted—
drowning
as a heart's
transformation
ends completed
now heavy, is the stone
that once
dual beated

Just when you think
there's even a semblance
of sanctuary...
from the surrealistic abstract
in tone and time
To the reality of
crushing blows
life unabashedly uses
to beat a body senseless
Welting black and blue
like neon
flashing it's lesson
seared upon pale skin
The myth perpetuated
that safe harbor—exists
is placating fiction
an optical illusion
Highlighted by the totality
of abominable naiveté
an 'after school special'
of mental and emotional
'character building'
purposely, in the
ridicule and rape
of all promised potential
Of all hope.
Where a trusting heart's
whimsical, loving fantasy—
that people
are mostly inherently good,
learned proper, by sickening loss
by pain in unimaginable proportions
and a broken will,
forever fucked up and twisted
especially, if you were of femininity
with a strong sense of self
The hammered truth
reality of pure carnal knowns
will always
be crowned winner
in the end....
at all costs
Humankind,
of supposed centuries evolved
[yet, to have
barely inched up
whatever evolutionary chart
says we are 'decent'
and, (definitely
no longer animals!)
rotates today,
the same - no differently
then any other time
That finding solace
within a safe likeness
is like looking
directly into the sun
Blinding and warm
but caustic
and in the end—
permanently damaging

Decent may be wrongly used with humankind and evolution. we have seen so many of the animal kingdom regardless of Darwin's theories so much more social among their own. The lion although a predator only kills out of necessity. We're only rambling, this piece actually made us think and that is super cool and super tight. Thanks Lady

I dreamt
lights of a dying sun
playing upon a face
almost remembered
not quite forgotten
racing towards a destination
Unknown yet anticipated
I cling on hopes
of swimming up
to breathe again
the flavour of sunshine
and I did
shrugging off pain
exquisite in it's offering
I seek an unseen hand
to comfort me
I remember You
and I'm comforted
