We Are Peace (dedicated to crimsin unveiling)
I was lost
when I ventured here
met a lady
who showed the way
passionate and beautiful
brilliant poetess
spreading her strength
the learning tree
I wasn’t ready
for the big time
personal circus
she seen the truth
the promise
possible potential
gave me hope
that I had to work for
she’s a dream
so supportive
that whisper
kissing my ear
wanted a collaboration
I had doubt
that I could
even keep up
dark nightmares
twisted thoughts
push the volume
seven fold
do you want pain?
we will oblige
possibly love?
exposing a tender side
I have a sister
who believes
crimsin blood
covering diamonds
united lust
violent angst
in the end
we are peace

Royal Tigress
“Good reviews are bad for poets”
That’s what Jade always says
Her exquisite words make me smile even when I’m at my lowest
She’s very humble and doesn’t give herself enough credit.
-
She’s Jade; more precious than her gem namesake
She’s a royal tigress, unashamed of showing her proud colors
Her heartfelt words are genuine, not at all fake
With every work of hers there’s a new world to discover.
-
From my place high up in the sky
I offer my pure light to the earth below
Enough to give sight to Jade’s magnificent eyes
Nothing can be hidden, I will always let it be shown.
-
Her imagination is endless
Nothing can hold back her desire to write
Regardless of the topic, her poems often send us
A message asking us to differentiate wrong from right.
-
I greatly admire this royal tigress
And am honored by her participation in my work
I wish her imagination to always remain boundless
And continues to make readers feel perk.

Brighter Than Sunshine
Dear J,
I’ll write about how you saved my life
for they’ll never know your face,
or ponder more obvious choices
from an Underground of secrets
they simply don’t know
about the coin I keep in my purse,
or the ancestral musings printed on it
reminding me to be brave.
I’ve stayed alive some weeks
because I can’t bear to exist
in a place where you are not,
a place where you don’t write
your imagery pushing me
to consistently ascend
with a belly full of dreams
into the madness of poetry
to live it, to breathe it
as a living entity,
consumed in the foolishness
of words in all their glory.
We spoke once of connections
and what it meant to our lives;
I guess I finally found another
who gets it:
the perfect silence I crave
as much as the roar—
our whole-hearted belief
in something more.
~

Jade Pandora (jade tiger)

paw prints outline kanji
low growls in bamboo
dawn sun

Jade Pandora has passed to me a gift, and only now do I begin to take it in, and in a lifetime I may approach...

Fairytale
Prelude
It wasn't always so
this certainty in doubt;
but, a black sun of shadow
content in one's own lot
Chapter 1
Once upon a Time
a toad discovered me
amidst a pond of poem
absorbed in imagery;
perched upon a lily pad
waiting for the frog
that rejected transformation
into some Prince of court
Because royalty, you see
wasn't what I sought
( nor golden riches of wealth
in a kingdom amid the wood )
But, a treasure that is trust
buried beneath the truth
no matter how much it hurt
to reveal such tender roots
Chapter 2
Assurance became the Frog
from my gentle leap of faith
into those murky waters
of transformative belief
The cloudy sediment splashed
from our introductory dance
rebirthing the sacred cache
into a regal Lotus
I dare not pluck it, I thought
for my admiration only
Howbeit gifted to me
by his sweet generosity
Beauty is best admired
by an open mind and heart
relinquishing the gifted bloom
for the greater good of Love
That all could view the truth
of what life could hold in store
by letting go of what cannot be
to embrace the great unknown
Chapter 3
Though he's secretly desired
by a few who've made their move
he chooses to sit by my side
knowing he's free to go
But, is that not the test
of Love and Trust and Truth
the liberty to leave blessed
if any so should choose
And yet does he remain
my best friend and my Love;
a confidant I can Trust
without expectation of return
For we all reap what we sow
be it betrayal, pain, or Love
Ah, but that is how we learn
whether we intended to, or not
The End
Postlude

(POEM FOR ALLYZONE)
You are the poetree-
Your scrawled-on leaves
Of paper
Fall and crumble-
Let them be.
The rain
Will drain
The remains
Of your ink
Like a sink
Into your
Underground plumbing.
WASH. RINSE. REPEAT.

Of paper
Fall and crumble-
Let them be.

Will drain
The remains
Of your ink
Like a sink
Into your
Underground plumbing.
WASH. RINSE. REPEAT.

AtoMikbomb Blast
Dedicated to AtoMikbomb
(For the "Who Inspired you Comp")
AtoMikbomb Blast
People on busses, people on trains
People in cars, people on planes
People who smile, people who frown
Folks going up, folks going downs
People with dogs, ladies with cats
Men who are good, men who are rats
Crashed motorcycles, broken down trucks
People who say they don't give to fucks
People who dance, people who sing
People in public playing with their thing
People soft spoken, people who shout
People who're serious and don't muck about
People in smart suits, people in rags
Folks who's life is in two carrier bags
People with cancer, people with AIDS
Veterans disabled by thrown hand grenades
Folks that are loving, folks homicidal
Happy and smiling, some suicidal
Other poets, too be or not to be
All kinds of everything inspire me
However:
There is one poet here I aspire to be
To be as able to look at the world as she
Her words drip like molten gold
Never a poem leaving me cold
A vocabulary clearly second to none
Her original concepts seem easily done
Flawless in form, flawless in style
Some that I study for such a long while
Everyone I have to read out loud
This wordsmiths velvet would please any crowd
Some are like opera, they sing to my soul
Some pull me out of my very dark hole
With every poem I'm always inspired
Of reading her verse I'll never get tired
Her comments encourage as they occur
When I grow up I want to be like her
It's probably true, she just doesn't know it
But she has helped me to become a better poet
This was a very easy write, this tribute to her
I'm sure all her readers would gladly concur
My most inspiring poem on DU.com
Ladies and gentlemen I give you "AtoMikbomb"
So many others inspire me too
Missy, Tyran and Nightbirdblue
Mel44, Dartford and Willow
Inspire my dreams as I sleep on my pillow
Ragnar, Crimsin and _shadoe_
Poets of renown, never shallow
Blueorchid, Josh and Amorous_tryst
Sorry to all the poets I've missed

THISIS THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT WHEN I REGISTERED AND SAW JADE PANDORAS PIC AND TIGER SAT NEXT TO HER
when i was led to this resource of words as i arrived
curiously empowred compelled as i looked inspired
then first glimpsed in awe as looked inside
a beauty that instantly began to make me write
can you believe i love to be poetic inclined tonight
not jaded my view of you initial impressions
again like a child first love innocent, true
at first sight in here the picture of you
when i was led to this resource of words as i arrived
curiously empowred compelled as i looked inspired
