when i was led to this resource of words as i arrived
curiously empowred compelled as i looked inspired
then first glimpsed in awe as looked inside
a beauty that instantly began to make me write
can you believe i love to be poetic inclined tonight
not jaded my view of you initial impressions
again like a child first love innocent, true
at first sight in here the picture of you

Associate The Masters

The rich kids never read
Bukowski.
The poor kids all read the
same dog eared copy of
"Women".

The Animal Control guy tries to feel
Nietzsche while parked beneath
a shaded Eucalyptus as his frightened captives
piss in their pins and wait on death.

She gave me my first copy
of Kerouac and made sure she
took it back when she
packed her things and left
for good.

I found Dante half dead
and forgotten in a prison cell.
His Inferno had been stripped of its
jacket and scarred with graffiti.

I read passed the torn
and missing pages
and when I was done.
I went back and walked
through that
Cold and Confusing Hell
with Dante as my guide.

Over and Over again.

Always a Dreamer (Dedicated to Ahavati)

I was simply a dreamer and wished upon a star
For some miracle, but you were never too far
Away with words of wisdom. You motivated
Me to reach beyond the stars and into my fated
Destiny where there was the underlying truth
About this world. We have many days of youth
Left before we get old. We have so many days
Of laughter and smiling. Sometimes the rays
Of sunshine disappear for days at a time, but
You appear like a mirage in the mirror. The rut
That threatens to overtake me, but you pull me
Out like an angel who saves me. You are my tree
That keeps me growing and blossoming into
Something magical. I am truly grateful for you.

I've penned a hundred or so
poems about Universe homes
Us and a muse whom I
can't resist writing about
or refuse drawing
portraits of

Without her
my life would be so much
blank paper

void of the Greatest Love
I've ever known

and ever will again

The emptiness of being alone
can only be filled by desires
when their earthly counterparts
remain what dreams may come

Otherwise, this
incarnation is just formality---
a painful going through motions
in which nothing and no one
inspires in a manner that matters
where it truly does

Hearts

such as mine
incomplete by design
halved without
Ahavati

MADAM

Soul bearing
Love and pain sharing
She paints with purple
With shades of blue

Sincere reflection
Candid perspective
That neither tries
To defame nor disgrace

Among the garden
Of poetic blossoms
None is more lovely
And fragrant than
A blooming Lavender

If only my flowers
Were as beautiful

Panama Judas,

How long have you been insolently mute?
How many early hours my mind has wandered to your fists,
to check them over in their earthy wounds and find myself bound
beneath a throbbing collection of words I
could only swallow whole,
whilst choking.
These days we all tumble through
this pay as you go
laundry-mat
but there's no pill as bitter as you,
none to cast away the weight of time
and I believe,
sometimes,
I still wait for you,

With fondness,

Your quiet addict.

P.S. Be breathing, please.

Words of You and Me

You stole my heart and soul
With words you freely gave
Words of passion, words of desire
Words that left me helplessly out of control

You taught me how to write
Courage with an empty pen
You taught me how to feel
Inspiration from a soft candle’s light

I don’t know where to go from here
Words of you and me
Lost in forever and a day
Soulmates divided by space and time

My Forever...

Salt of Life

still remember
the day i arrived

silenced bird with

disfigured wings
insecure about

everything but
willing to evolve

you came my way
spoke of sound

enjambment

onomatopoeia
rhythm and flow

showed me how
to cut & prune

paved the way
to better writes

but the thing that
inspires me most is

your brutal honesty
and steadfastness

to not withhold

thanks Todski

because of you

and your support
i’ve found my voice

and sing my own song

Bouquet for AEMelia

To weave the strands of light and shade
and read on and be amazed
human emotions and frailties played
worlds arboreal and the meadow glade

Nurture that is middle earth
the grail that is bestowed on us
wild flower or a cultivar
words flow from this nectar bower

Long shadows insights cleave
the exclamation of returning reads
awaken thoughts for my mind to sieve
AEMelia 564 a lot to give

priestess of my hearts content
words like balm nothing to resent
a glowing torch of pros unfold
a warming fire in the bitter cold

Penance

Disengage
let Your Cage
evaporate

this fetid pool of flesh
primitive in how it lets
microscopic dread embed

YOU Never bled
rivers flow Red
only in Convents

YOU remain as pure
as JEHOVAH's
favorite Whore

In other words

You are MORE
than Us scores
of cowering cocks
locked in suits

Im not

but make NO excuse
for my own weakness
the WARNINGS
I resist

I seek You
as I seek
the Abyss
to fall Eternally
enmeshed in Your Sweets

will You Grant
my existence Complete?

We both Agree
Our Substance
MORE than Meat

shed wretched disease
that cleaves
when We secrete

Soon we'll sail
beyond the
frail casings
that anchor
Our intense
Embracing

We'll fly beyond
this putrid
primordial pond
where slimy fish
and their ilk
cant help but
writhe in soiled
stench of mud
of Earth
so far
the ONLY
Mode of Birth

WE will coast
above the
refuse of
gross, toasted,
Silicone based
Race

WE LOVE
outside JEHOVAH's
experimental
Disgrace
