It feels good, so who really cares
When he would get off from work he would come home to his wife and her irritable old mother
He hates his mother in law
She lives with them, after her husband died a few years back
Lucky him
She nags and complains and aggravates him every goddamn night
He gets tired of telling his wife to kick her out or have her shut her fucking mouth
He can't take the noise
All day long at work he has to listen to the noise
His boss, the assholes he works with and those fucking machines
When he gets home he wants quiet
His wife is always protecting her mother...
He hates his mother in law

the quiet close in on me
my spinalcord was dry
my wet chest cough
splintered in memory
my soul call out
in the darkness of death I will meet you
black surrounds me in my despair
yes, I remember you
silentlty calling to me
interupting dreams and fantasies
you pull me into the depths
treading water till I tire
my being drown in the emotional sea
full of faces no substance
just empty noises and no connection
saddened to be suffocated by the loneliness
the sky push on me with its grey...

keeping Self in check
one of the most difficult...
...& most valuable...
lessons I've had to learn in healing
is not letting my own wounds
become someone else's damage
turning the sharp edge of my pain
...away
because emotional injury...
...is something we cannot undo
& apologies don't mend the ache
the scar will always remain
just as mine exist
so too will theirs
& what if...
mine was one strike too many...
...& most valuable...

When things get rough and spiritually things, are not going so well I know from my own experience, it can be a scary situation to have to learn to just walk away. Comingling with some foresight frets
I see a future of regrets
where the outcome is rarely good
if ever it is understood
that within a Pythian song
is all of that which could go wrong
when the hand of fate makes a fist
confirming it as nihilist
almost as if it were a god
committed to soul crushing fraud
where jubilation in our youth
decays into the painful truth
where things will seldom go our way,
even on the sunniest day,
since all the physics now in play...
are all, to death, a grand ballet.
