Is She Doing It To Make Me Jealous Or What?
Wayne was sitting in
a dive having some coffee
and reading some Bradbury.
That's before he looked
across the street and saw his
wife kissing some other guy.

She Heard A Car Pull Up In The Driveway
"Pull it out of me! Quick! You need to get your
butt dressed and out of here before my husband comes
in!" was what Barbara has said to Jason
after she heard a car pull up in the driveway.

I said, why don’t you go home to your wife?
I daren’t.
why?
she might not be there.
I said, let me get you another pint ..

I'm Sick Of Her!
Kind of sick of my wife
This marriage is getting the best of me
All she does is complain, nag, whine and bark orders
I could divorce her
I could up & leave
I'm just lazy I guess
I zone out most of the time
I'll escape by writing poems or stories
Other times I'll exercise or go for a walk or bike ride
I always keep myself busy
I'm a perfectionist
Our home is always clean, organized and neat
She knows how well I take care of everything and knows she don't need to lift a finger
The one thing she does is cook ...

The First Autumn
Down the hill, and across the field we wandered
Along the paths we walked and talked
laughing and playing, as children do
all day, till the sun ripened
Upon Silverbell lake,
where we swam, and made love in the waters
We ate peaches, from the tree,
with wild strawberries and sweet cream
Laying, on a blanket, drinking the last of the summers wine,
In, our first autum
Along the paths we walked and talked
laughing and playing, as children do

Upon Silverbell lake,

The Ballad of Madam Chopitoff
A woman fed up, fueled by strife,
Chopped off her husband’s pride with a knife.
As he lay sleeping, she took her leave,
Tossed his “johnson” out, in wild reprieve.
Bleeding profusely, he called for aid,
A friend drove him to Hospital's shade.
Meanwhile, cops took up the hunt,
Questioned Madam Chop-It-Off, blunt.
They found it tossed by 7-Eleven,
Wrapped it on ice, quite the leaven
In a hot-dog bag, and rushed it quick,
A surgeon’s test, to knot the prick.
Nine hours in surgery's heavy hand, ...

Maria Marlena II
She’s the ache in your heart,
She’s the tears on these cheeks,
She’s the sigh after a long deep breath.
(And the release after “sutyum”.)
She’s the trees dancing in the wind,
And the stillness that remains.
She's the black, defining white,
The flame burning bright,
’Til the last of its light.
She’s the tears on these cheeks,
She’s the sigh after a long deep breath.
(And the release after “sutyum”.)
She’s the trees dancing in the wind,
And the stillness that remains.
She's the black, defining white,
The flame burning bright,
’Til the last of its light.

In Light Years
I have flown at a velocity unknown to man
Steering the fastest vessel amidst the stars
I felt the gravitational pull of her constellation
Then captured it through poems and memoirs
I caressed the surface of her burning suns
In colors and emotions not known to men
Then coded my verse to relish and reminisce
On my travels of a universe that has no end
I have experienced phenomenal sensations
Wayfaring through space seeing the sights
At speeds only known to a cosmic renegade
Witnessing the lights up close in the winter sky ...

Aesthetic
You turned over on to your left side, as lies a fetus
There painted before me were your contours
exposing resplendent hints of your hourglass
The subject being framed by your coarsely flowing
raven hair, and by the entire back of your right arm
Other supporting elements spoke from your
benevolent and delicate palm and fingers
There is a single spaghetti strap from your negligee
laying diagonally, aimlessly over your olive skin
pretending to support one of your melons ...

Beatrice and Arthur
Arthur comes down in a robe, pajama and slippers because it is 5:30 in the morning, and the damn blender is going off in the kitchen. And here's how that conversation went.
Beatrice
Ohh thank goodness you're awake. I was waiting until you rose. I need your assistance on this
Arthur
B, you woke me up at this godforsaken hour. For what reason?
Beatrice
You know I said I was starting my whole exercise regime. You said you would assist me with anything I ask of you. And I need your...
