Obelisks
Wintry tears drip deep
into icy, dark waters
The stream is endless,
as she came to me in the form of paradise
As I envisioned
I made a decision
Wisdom floats
as infinity awaits
into icy, dark waters
The stream is endless,
as she came to me in the form of paradise
As I envisioned
I made a decision
Wisdom floats
as infinity awaits

Stillness
I sit here looking at the burnt orange sunset
Reflecting off the flat pond
I am no painter with a brush and easel
My thoughts paint the scene
My words color it
May it be dark or light or somewhere in between
Still, I look at the stillness
I envy the quiet in this moment of dusk
To see peace and never have it
Like tempting you with the sweetest delicacy
Only a centimeter away and still never allowed to have it
Even the birds are quiet in this reflective peace
...

sacred blood oath
the collective pool of thought is cleansed
a water sprite with tree guardians
in the forests among the ferns, I dance
my soul is free...
the earth herself calls me into her wonderment
my soul protects her sacredness
I listen intently to her thoughts
chanting quietly in her hollows
the animals know to obey her will
they keep her trust
I hear the ancestors drumming
sounds like the heart-pounding
keeping a steady rhythm of understanding
we walk after the faith
knowing we are but gardeners
we will one day...

The Lost Books
The news announced the sinking ship;
water pushing its metal hull
off a gangplank of the straight
until it crumbled as crystal over rock
Planes spotted flotsam and jetsam
—pinched debris riding a caterpillar
of watery waves inching across the sea—
its waterlogged bite engorged
from strewn pages as leaves
sinking into a survivorless
translucency
Below, a commandeered army
—a delegation of new ghosts
manifesting posthumously
because sometimes Poseidon reads
while sitting peacefully at his desk—

Epitaph-/ ode to Ran
when these shores
hearse sea horses
curved flaked foam
far faint breezes are at play
while winterly ghosts
sing sea gulled
we the walking sands
will remember them
finding thornless russets
where wild anemones arose
upon opening tides
we the waves
will soothe ears
with tears of a tar
embodied strumming lyres
where I behold no one
myself alone
beheld in vastness
sae sea she!

Oxygen
Will your last breath be an exhale that just continues on until all air is gone?
Can it be anything else?
No more inhales.
No more anything.
No more you.
You never existed in the first place.
You were just an imagining in consciousness.
Things only touched a convention , never you.
You can't be touched physically.
Because you don't exist physically.
You're just attached to something created by contact with something else.

Inner Harmony with Peace
Come go with me 🙏 and travel into a different place, where there's no time only your own thoughts, in the depths of your own MIND. For sure you could need to have a few minutes, to just unwind from the negativity and drama, and confusion for the betterment of your mind thoughts. WOULD you take the time. ⌚ To release the deepness of your own thoughts, to be able to feel you are unblocking, the very deepness of your spiritual. ENTITY of your energy and determination and perseverance. TO just have this opportunity to get inside of your own personal thoughts, 🤔 to be able to...

A Terrible Depth
Every beautiful surface has a terrible depth. - unknown
The mysterious formation
of pristine turquoise glaciers
in my heart.
Are the monuments of all
my cold goodbyes.
The terrible ache of the chaos of life,
broke off an island of ice
seeking the why.
The tip of the iceberg is
frozen shards of what's left behind.
Sinking voyaging thoughts
from the dark depths of my mind.
Standing there is a beautiful man
who says take my hand.
I will forever be your land.

SKINNY DIPPING SPOT
During hottest month of the drought
We youngsters would go swim in nowt,
Within a wooded stretch of brook
That we thought grown ups would not look.
We were at age when pubic hair
Began to adorn us 'down there'
And the girls had upon their chests
The beginnings of adult breasts.
It made us feel wicked and free
Going bathing "in the noddy" -
Until day Dad said (to my shame),
When he was young 'we' did the same;
On that stretch of the brook, no less,
They too went in state of undress...

The Midnight Pacific
I dreamt of going to the beach
but the beach came to me
with all the colors to beseech
a midnight mind at sea.
And all washing in on a breeze
of sweet pacific air
and sweeter still through all the trees
of forests everywhere!
Then to an ocean sky I woke
of multi-layered gray,
wherefrom Poseidon gently spoke
his hydrologic say...
"Oh, when you finally get some sleep
when you were overdue
my spirits over land will creep...
and bring the sea to you"

beautifully Eerie...
as sunlight caresses ripples
stirred by a single launched pebble
gilded at the edges
golden in accentuation
like the rings of an ancient tree
highlighting inner beauty...
...of each step along life's journey
spreading ever outward
& that intrusion...
...tossed so unexpected...
...into a mirror still surface
changes the reflection
tis the nature of liquid-essence
you see...
water does not break upon stone...as they claim
ending right there...
