The 'Doreen B'
A Dutch coaster
In stormy seas
Was like more a roller coaster
The bleeping toys
For buoys
Guiding lights
Until land is in sight
The fear goes
As one alights
And once again
There is earth
Beneath your feet
Another voyage
Now complete
Grateful
To find a safe port
In a storm
Something that now
Feels forlorn
No more than a wish
To avoid rotting fish
No red herrings...

Luna Murmurings
Like newly born stars
Murmurations
Of a multitude starlings
Were creating
A myriad abstracts in the sky
In perfect harmony
An orchestra of beautiful nature
Performing a ballet
Under a sky
With a mixture of hues
Of pinks, and blues
Which then, began to grey
As light bid goodnight, to the day
Soon the moon slowly arose
Full, bright, and mischevious
Laying low, in a darkening night
Whilst pixies danced
Beneath its radiant glow
Far below, far below
As the ocean crashed
Ebb, and flo, ebb and flo ...

Polynesian Barista
She is the fragrance
Of an orchid Lea
From a South Sea Hulu dancer
Whose grass skirt waves
In the tropic breeze
Her Pele spirit a lava flow
Across smoking slopes
Of denim shorts
Vested in bosom sacraments
Whose black flag
Hides pink periwinkles
Her smile the promise
Of lipstick luau
For photographic eye safari
When her conch shell timbre
Sounds from the blue cathedral
Where cetaceans dream

I am the wind beneath blowing at Hell’s feet
When Demons come to the roundtable to greet

No permission granted in earthly rest until the understating of man’s devious plight is understood

Images of a sovereign that once held the holiness of a crown

within the ocean's heart
light is scarce
yet sometimes rare
—a little angler fish’s torch
illuminates
the darkness there
A fishing lure
it softly sways
temptation
in an endless haze

amid the dark

of appetite
Her humpbacked nature
in eerie depths
where silence holds

A Sailor's Odyssey of Truths
Between the rocks of Scylla and Charybdes,
so voracious, so attractive, so hungry,
my heart sailed on a stormy sea.
Seeking the Mermaid, beauty in tenacious tone,
who lived on an island among the fearful abyss.
Maritime convulsions, disastrous results.
Scylla devoured the wanderers with her mouths.
Charybdes, the whirlwind, swallowed up the unfortunate.
In the cruel seas, the fearful sailed.
The islands were a mystery with a veil of illusion,
with shady palm trees and ivory beaches.
There my heart suffered, in solitude, ...

fusion of a pungently pleasant
fishy odoriferous ambience..
ah home this is

at 40 or more Celsius .. these
unstoppably streaming yellows
of a brightened sunflowering
noon .. in busy rushing crowds
with a musk of sweating stench
Ah home yes home
this sweltering heaven

I take a short drive to the beach almost daily.
Something about the waves make me feel at ease.
Calming my mind and grounding my thoughts.
The sound of the waves crash, I could listen to them all day.
The cold breeze from the sea blowing through my hair, cold tears dripping down my cheeks.
Looking out to sea.

There are many Names Of Guardians Of Delphin's See
Although there can only be one, the others cannot be
Poseidon, Neptune, Mazu, or even, Ran/Aegir
Or is it Tiamat, or Oceanus, or merely a nereid seer?
For in the darkest depths, of the eternal abyss
Immersed in Protean tales, mythology persists
So to which hydrocrat, is a dolphin's homage paid?
Or is it none of them, for they're all man made
The aggressive delusion, upon terra firm's, rife
And only in dolphin seas, is there intelligent life
For there's nothing beyond, a siren's...
