Eternia
the dark laugh. it watched the woman
as she rose from slumber
deadly yes but vulnerable
the darkness has been at work while she rest
she spied the night observing her
she worried not after its devices
woven throughout the chronicles of time is her essence
she would make her appointed destination
while the dark schemed she liberated souls
the Goddess of Eternia
her power reach deep inside the nine circles of hell
freeing peoples from their enslavement
slaves to their beliefs, they believed they belong there
...

The new flats built on Eagle Street were semi-luxurious and advertised as being for "young professionals". Previously it had been a council property and used to house needy families as well as other "problem cases" that the local authorities felt obliged to deal with, including addicts and recently released prisoners. There was a scandal two years before the council sold the premises when the tenants of one flat murdered a young man whom they'd brought home from a nightclub. One of the killers was a collector of clown memorabilia and seemed especially fond of a persona...

Hollow Man
Hollow of eyes,
these shut eyelids
cast out the light.
The eyes of this soulless man
fused shut years ago to the light.
Light that would melt the ice within.
Hollow of a voice,
these shut lips
hide my cold thoughts.
The voice of this empty man
choked mute long ago.
Mute to expressions of empathy.
Hollow of warmth,
this icy skin
encasing a body void of a soul.

Treading ever slightly
wavering purpose
not to be exposed
Feeling uneasy
new terrain
self will not imposed
Attempting to emulate
one more mask to wear
compliance required
Following at present
when once I surely led
silently uninspired
Existing on an edge
fine line to navigate
path again aborning
Whatever the colour
fades to black
in my perpetual mourning

My mind
My mind is a Hennessey Venom GT: car 270.49mph doing hand brakes turns . That's anxiety for you but My body is a Renault Twizy 45. Chugging away at 28mph My feelings are already out the door coat on jogging on, while my body is laid back with pjs on i am either way ahead or behind, I know they say opposites attract but honestly, I am feeling out of whack.
