knowledge
before there was any known language
there was a being who had dreams and visions
some of those visions terrorized him
some of his dreams were beautiful
there was a sort of singing
without words, it was full inflection feelings
space was empty and vast
swimming through echoing his location
nothing echoed back but he was sure he wasn't alone
the dark faith inscribed on his soul
were vows he made to himself there in the dark
according to the manifestation of his prophecy
he shows me things he takes me deep into the past ...

Raindrops
As I take my final walk
Down to my favorite lake
The voices from beyond talk
Reflecting on my life I shake
Myself staring back at me
In the crystal blue reflection
My life and my history
And a thorough introspection
I see my reflection start to cry
My tears I try to splash away
Regret that made me want to die
Revisiting me this incredible day
The dark angry clouds form
Cutting through me like a knife
Then the water transforms
As I anguish at my life ...
Down to my favorite lake

Ghost Groom
On a dark,brooding night.
There was a haunted mansion in sight.
They say it used to be lively and fun.
Until they got killed and the killer ran.
The dusty windows drive you in.
Making you want to go inside.
You make your way over to the old,wooden gates.
And you walk on the wooden,floor plates.
There is a piano,but not an ordinary piano.
That seemed to be playing a song.
A lovely,romantic lullaby.
That would soothe anyone that does cry.
On the stool appeared a ghost before you.
He is a dead...

And What Of The Brothers?
Dear Brothers,
As I sit here in full emotion, first I want to thank you.
Thank you men who would sacrifice all to protect, to guide, to cut off evil and bind up wounds of fellow soldiers on the battle field of life.
To the husband's who still dance with their half clothed princess, to the fathers who work all day and come home to fix all that seems to be constantly broken.
Hold tight to their hands, to the men who build their homes on a dying faith, don't let that candle go out.
Guide your sons in strength and grace, teach them lowliness and gratitude are a priceless...

Elegy On Not Giving Up
Do you ever have times when you think you can’t win,
Or you’re getting no gain from the pain you are in?
Are you troubled by thoughts that you’re losing your groove,
Do you have a conviction that things won’t improve?
If you’re not fitting in, or you’ve taken a hit,
Or you’ve fallen right into a bottomless pit,
If you don’t want to deal with what’s real any longer,
If the pain you are feeling has been getting stronger,
And you’re feeling downtrodden, forgotten, or blue,
As though every god is abandoning you, ...

Redemption (complete short story)
"Slow down, Howard. We’re already late and it won’t help if you get pulled over for speeding,” Chuck pleaded.
“What are you worried about? They’re not going to ticket you,” Howard spat back, annoyed at being told what to do. “Plus, they have speed cameras now—so I’ll get a ticket and a $75 fine. Big deal. I pay more to detail the car every week."
“You’re going to get us killed, man.”
“When did you turn into such a whiney little girl? You want me to drop you at the next corner and call you an Uber--or your mommy? I’m sure they both obey the speed...
