the storm I created
she broke into this world
a storm wrapped in pink blankets
the daughter that borrowed my eyes
my temper
my frown
my tendency to stand
at the edge of shadows
what else could we do but spark?
squarin up over nothin and everythin
we catch fire the same way
quiet and hot
both refusin to bend or break
same flush in our cheeks
I still see her as four
hands on her hips
determination set
in the corners of her mouth
small voice deliverin judgement

Her
I remember when we met as kids.
And we still believed in incredible things.
Her smile,her laughter.
I could just drink it in.
And when it subsides,her laughter.
A beautiful smile bringing me in.
I remember when we became teens.
And we were no longer kids.
We started going on dates.
To movies,playing games.
We were just enjoying our lives.
As we let out content sighs.
But years later,a virus had spread.
And her emotions, all I could read was fear.
And maybe holding back a tear.

I’m just a little child,
Here for only a few years,
Yet it feels like lifetimes of duality,
Bullied and broken by the one who is a gift.
I’m just human.
Sometimes I wear masks
To blend with the stars,
But my energy is too violent.
I guess I'll collapse into a black hole.
I’m not human.
To be human is to be among humans,
But my mind struggles to cope with them,
The ones who dragged my soul through torment,
Stripping me bare and leaving me cold,
A shadow by the roadside, unseen.
No one stops to offer a jacket, ...

CRY UPON HIS SHOULDERS
The elders say that we can't stop talking to GOD ALMIGHTY, no matter what we have to face in our lives,
when we have trouble waters in our lives that makes us feel as thought there is no way out of the storms. But yet somehow has changed the very course of our own lives. For sure we must continue to believe in our faith and beliefs, by leaving behind the sorrow of our hurt and pain. YET remaining focus on the task at hand, for sure we must never get caught up within, the storms of our feelings of emotions. Which makes us lose our focus draining, us of our strength and courage and...

My Nickname Was Grace, Because I Broke Everthying I Touched, But Maybe That's Not A Bad Thing
If the woman I now am, could keep the knowledge I now have on the outcome of you, and how one day you would heal from your own childhood trauma and be the mother I always needed, I would've loved you while you were thumping around on me. I would've went to school with a clearer mind, knowing there's hope in this life to be had one day. I would've applied myself to studying. I could've made good grades, I just didn't see the point of it all, as a child life is defined by current moments, and the future was happening live time, so I had no hope for mine, because if your own mother hated you,...

This Ain't No Bull
I had a dream once, I was in this building full of rooms and people, then all of the sudden I hear folk screaming and running, and as I turn around, here is this red bull charging through everyone. I take off running for my life when I realized he had his sights set on me only. I ran into one of the rooms trying to hide behind crates and stuff the rooms were filled with, but the bull knew exactly where I was, as he horned the goods tossing them about until he was in range of me by two or three feet, and as we locked eyes, all the sudden he turned into a black bull, and I took the pause as an...

The eve of new year 2025
I'm going out not knowing.
Hoping to find some knowing.
This year has been a trike.
Hoping next years betta.
Or at least no worst.
Through there's room
A plenty for betta.
For me and all others.
Other year...
lured by a lover.
This time last year.
Future promising looked.
Lover left me.
Off with my best friend.
Oh I do miss the fella... lol.
Other things other.
Didn't seem to go right.
Going with the flow do I.

The Fairies in the Fog
Walking home last night.
A fog eliminated the view.
Replacing all colours with a grey hue.
Tabula rasa moment.
I'm in the zone.
My mind thoughts & words mingle.
In that place, jumbled yet unformed.
Words painting visual imagines.
Of eclectic hues and colours.
Sky and clouds became a canvas.
Primed in gray tones.
Silhouettes back lit by street lights.
The world desaturated.
Devoid of colour.
Gray on grey on gray. ...

I May Be That Girl
I may be that disabled girl who's so sick she cannot work a normal job, but she's the artist that will save so many lives. She's the artist who knows that her art will heal herself in a way a normal job can't.
I may be that girl who was rarely ever chosen, rarely ever picked, but I know now that I will let love find me. I need many years alone. But I'm a caring individual who won't beg for love; I will things happen the way they're supposed to.
I may be that girl who thinks she'll off herself if things get too hard, but I'm going to try anyway and do this artist thing....

A Writers Vows
With this paper and pen, I vow..
To voice out the volumes of words left unsaid.
To spell out the silence of the secrets left unspoken.
I vow,
That my sonnets will speak the language our spirits haven't figured out yet,
That the lines of my limericks will lyric the songs our souls haven't sung yet,
That my haikus will hold and heal our haggard hearts,
That...
My words, wether in prose of verse, written, spoken, raw or rehearsed will silence the voices in our heads, listen..
I vow that the ink of my pen will be the flavor of sweat driven by my...

Terra/Sarah

Slade: You don't belong with the Titans.
Terra: You don't know anything about me!
Slade: On the contrary, Terra. I know everything about you. I've been watching you for some time. I know why you're always running away.
Slade: I know your secret, little girl.
Terra: No!
Slade: Earthquakes. Avalanches. Mudslides. Everywhere you go, you try to do good. And everywhere you fail. So everyone turns against you.
