Cold Hearted
Desire bleeds the serpent dry
Crawling towards his surprise
Forked tongue begins to pry
Without hope or compromise
Adapting to this hostile terrain
Shedding skin along the way
Living off sin unable to refrain
Stalking his unsuspecting prey
Lethal venom piercing fangs
Striking flesh with brute force
In the balance survival hangs
Cold hearted beyond remorse
Crawling towards his surprise
Forked tongue begins to pry
Without hope or compromise
Adapting to this hostile terrain
Shedding skin along the way
Living off sin unable to refrain

February Frost
The oak trees in winter
into the painted grey skies
ghosts of the midwinter fires
flames of darkness, touching down on earth
the purest water of the black lake
the great cold death brought forth

flames of darkness, touching down on earth
the purest water of the black lake

False Flower
I was once a beautiful flower
Bursting with life
Petal were strong
Demanding all of you to keep me in your sight
Then one day, out of the blue
Another flower blooms
Right next to me, know who
I was in her shadow
I could not be seen
“Hey, I was here first.”
Why are you so mean?
Then a frost came
And she slowly started to go down
Why did it not affect me?
Why do I wear this frown?
She looked at me and with her last breath
Because we knew she was so close to death
“Do not be sad, you were...

bloom
the day awoke me slowly
with her vibrant vibrations, she lured me out of the sleepiness, of dreams
swaying in her energy, I open my eyes and look around me
trees utter wisdom
flowers in their beds, shook the dew from their dozy heads
slowly opening to the sunshine
while the day began her lessons for the day
shyness came to behold, the dawn
late for class, her mother admonished
the world is interactive, be kind to her she'll be kind to you
gentle understanding between a child and her mother
spark the child's imagination ...

Haltia, spirit
watchers atone alder woods
their leafy baren
mistress fingerbones
tree wizardry
chatter never beginning
nor ending
bending
before risen sun sinks
rasping rooks their songs
sing feathered
white maidens
silvery dressed
I have become
the epithet called earth
standing among frozen stream
staring into rustic figments
otter opus
empress ermine
furry fox frock
a scythe cut ...

It's here and now I'm free
As long as I can remember that it was never this way, when we were in prison by the things that have changed, the atmosphere slowly destroying the very fabric of lives that have come and gone. But yet as I continue to stand and tolerate, the deepness of the mass destruction, it's here and now I find myself in this space and time. Finding the deepness of the words of peace and tranquility with quiteness of harmony and sounds. For sure as I look as far as I can see, it is necessary for me to be able to absorb the deepness of the energy, as I received my strength and courage and perseverance. To...

When Clouds Get Heavy
The clouds cry to release their suffering.
Never holding their tears in because they know how much lighter they become without them.

Winter's Prose
In autumn's glow, the world begins to rest
And amber leaves descend in weathered flight
The summer's heat now finds a gentler quest
As chilly winds chase the lingering light
The trees, donning their robes of ember gold
Stand sentinel against the waning sun
Their branches reach with tales of seasons old
While shadows stretch as days are nearly done
The air is crisp, a breath of frost and pine
As harvests yield their bounty to the earth
The twilight hours in muted hues align
And nightfall's calm descends with...

SCHOOLED BY A SPARROW
BIRDS
I have a
bird feeder
on my balcony
that I continually
keep filled
with seed.
Today as I
watched my friend
come for the
seed he knows
will be there,
I thought how
simple life would be
if we humans would
trust each other and
share the blessings
we have.
Today I was once
again schooled by
a sparrow.
What lesson will
you let nature teach you
TODAY?

Snail Mom?
She loves fiercely and with abandon
No favorites, they’re all adored
Big or small each one has their own special place in her heart
Treading lovingly, collecting shells
Natures fuel and healing power
Earth mother gently nourishing her offspring with such tenderness
Wait!
What?
She said, “I’m a Snail mom”
I said, “Huh?”

~You are The Kanchenjunga of Love
…. and then still up to the summit of Kangchenjunga, now so pure and ethereal we can scarcely believe it is part of the solid earth on which we stand; and so high it seems part of the very sky itself." ~ The Epic of Mount Everest, 1926, by Sir Francis Younghusband
