Clouds Collide
clouds like white cotton candy
fluffy in the sky of blue
tuck together and dance merry
when wind comes their way
as two strangers meeting by chance
eyes meeting and sparks ignite
hands reach out for gentle touch
needs and desires come into light
when clouds drift and collide
within the confine of nature's dome
magic ignites and they coalesce
and thunder and lightning are born
Strangers embrace become as one
falling in love in a dizzy whirlwind
colours subdued become so bright
when they...

Nostalgia
Melancholy, winter's march
grey, damp atmosphere
listlessly awaiting spring
A naked maple tree
her thin branches, outward
from their rooted trunk of soil
sweep slowly in the window
Reminds me
of underwater algae
in a bedrock of basalt
What does this evoke. . .
some youthful convergence
upon a preseason beach
seaweed-wrapped ankle
tangled in a forest of green
Thick clouds meld into one another
barely discernable
Sudden wind rushes through limbs
just like that ocean...

We Are Our Own Creation
I’m standing at the ground level of existence
Looking around at the ridges and mounds of persistence
The erosion of my depression has terra formed the mounts
I attempt to climb the levels between needs and wants
Each level is sow with a different version of my pain
From row to row I choose to reap me again and again
Calluses built, nails broken, as I climb between levels
At the base, life wasn’t acknowledged as I lied with the devil
But he had no use for humans and he screamed, “fuck earth”
Hahaha, he pissed on nothing, and asked me...

The Honey Bunch
Apologies, bold daffy dill,
it's another rainy day you face
when what I think you'd rather embrace
were sunbeams taming winter chill.
But bloom you must, and bloom you will,
to set a standard for the pace
of flowers getting to first base
in vernal pollination thrill
wherein the bees showcase some skill
in load logistic micro space
with stamen like steeples in the chase
for pollen loads intent to spill...
so she, her flight path will retrace,
to bee no springtime charity case!

Spirits we are
I considered her a light breeze
and i
a leaf
when i fell
she picked me up
took me
far away.
in my slow death
she caressed me
until once again
i rose
somewhere else.
she never
leaves me.

Hearts in the Sand (song)
Sunlight on the harbour
sparkles like mischievous eyes
Laughter of seagulls
Questions float on wind and tide
The trees where we used to walk together
They miss your footsteps now
Life comes in waves, they just keep coming
We don’t get to ride them all
Lifetimes wash away like hearts in the sand
You’re living in my memory
It’s gonna be alright
Lifetimes wash away like hearts in the sand
You’re living in my memory
I’m gonna be alright
The tides went on and on before us
The tides go on and...

Bonding With Mother Nature
Well Grand Rising everyone
Today’s date is November the six
And I am on sabbatical
Therefore, I just want to give thanks to the blessings of Mother Nature
And all the wonders of her nakedness
From the leaves falling from the tress
To the greenery that she leaves behind
To the oxygen within the air
And I just want to say everyone please have a great and blessed Monday
November the six
And no matter what you do make sure you seek higher vibrations
To give you that spiritual divineness to your heart and to your intellect as...

Painted Sky
Beneath a canvas of the painted sky
with a twilight moonlit shadow
painted by a brush of nature's touch
with mortal's touch-poetic kiss unfold
whispering symphony of timeless beauty
dancing in tales of dreams untold
rainbows dripping from my eyes
with a twilight moonlit shadow
painted by a brush of nature's touch

The moment of my death.
The kayak is light and so is the equipment.
I carefully Swim here,
where it's quiet and smooth.
I can't swim over the rapids though.
Now it’s time to go forward again.
Getting back into the kayak.
Seeing the violence that lays ahead.
As it calls to me in loud crashes...
But somehow suddenly the current picked up,
Although I rowed back rather,
It was too late. Dragged with force
And threw to the rapids in the waterfall.
Now no options. Only forward.
No fights, no regrets.
There is no other way, there are...

Cloud Kiss
Take my hand
I know this place
eternal peace for me
the clouds in our beautiful sky
Tis fun at first
hand in hand
jumping from one to another
giggling even
Like landing in a bowl of marshmallows
bite one, youll experience all there is
the innocent sweetness
pure bliss
With our hands entwined as one
feeling this softness together
the purity of what we feel
like the whisper of a stolen kiss
I know this place
eternal peace for me
the clouds in our beautiful sky
Tis fun at first
hand in hand
jumping from one to another
giggling even

an apple a day and a lesson in temporal mechanics
Time abides beneath
an ancient apple tree
for a brief rest from
his toils
picks his teeth, looks
at the setting
sun
mumbles some nonsense
about the importance
of a stich and nine and
Sir Issac Newton
I walk over and say
to Time,
"Take you time, Time.
You have all the time
in the world. No rush."
Time responses
effortlessly
" I know I do,
but you don't."
