What a curtain Bisbee has
What a curtain Bisbee has
That keeps Mexico subdued
And influences the lands
From which the Sierra was hewn.
What purple folds keep Oaxaca
As a fortress in the sky
Breaking only in Panama
To let a vessel dredge by.
No courier have I on hand
Except the initial breezes that blow
So a whisper I channel into it:
Give to Colombia my hello.
That keeps Mexico subdued
And influences the lands

Invitation
Clouds of the fluffiest cotton kind hover above.
The staggering, slanted, sculpted rock's spine.
Giant weathered stones border,
the turbulent turquoise water basin.
Nature's soul rupturing invitation
To abandon agonized thoughts,
deep below the splashing and hot sun flashing.
My mind no longer fraught.
Astonishment is taught.
Let beauty invade your chasms of pain.
With peace stains.

TRANQUILITY OF PEACE
Here I am in tranquility and the deepness of my thoughts, as they roam with my eyes to see 👁️👁️ before me. THE full truth of the deepness and depth, in it's natural form of beauty. Witness
I witness the monstrous beauty
of the gargantuan mountains.
Awe fails to be an adequate sensation.
Time chiseled rock make up
the grandeur of the mountain's spine.
They have seen.
Heard.
Felt.
As if divine
The seasons, reasons, our inner treasons.
They are solid but silent witness's
The altitude will never tell,
and break the allure of the majestic spell.

Mercury is rising
The crickets whizzing
I hear the hissing
As of a pan sizzling..

A landscape speechless
A visible sweetness
Mingled with a moment
Idyllic and timeless

Meticulously arranged, the elements unfold,
A table of wonders, complete and clear.
Ideals of balance, explosions held at bay,
As the winds whisper, waters flow, life stirs.
Fragrance and the invisible intertwine,

Smoky Blue Ridged Mountains
Hill patch blades rustle gently
Sun blood creeps to rest among
Such smoky blue ridged mountains
Night, crawling out from the holler's depths
Where some shadows make their home
The daylight, a passerby. Here, listen
And ear to the bluest grass, slow
Longing echoes, hear, as ages ago
The mountain sound, constellates
Years in time's linen, crying out heavy
Moon shine seeping through woodsmoke
Because the sun burnt out like a match
Such, in smoky blue ridged mountains
Sun blood creeps to rest among

There's something different about the wind
that's travelled a long, long way
and a weary heaviness
as if compressed by the weight of miles
yet full of exotic scents and ozone
Eagerly you face the breeze
now caressing your face as you wet your lips
tasting spices from high desert plains
and sun baked granite cliffs
