Monoliths
Wintry tears drip deep,
into icy, dark waters
The stream is endless,
as she came to me in the form of paradise
As I envisioned
I made a decision
Wisdom floats
as infinity awaits
into icy, dark waters
The stream is endless,
as she came to me in the form of paradise
As I envisioned
I made a decision
Wisdom floats
as infinity awaits

Rose
Queen of the garden
Outshines all
Of her peers
Emitting a scent
as lovely
As she looks
Outshines all
Of her peers
Emitting a scent
as lovely
As she looks

SCHOOLED BY A SPARROW
BIRDS
I have a
bird feeder
on my balcony
that I continually
keep filled
with seed.
Today as I
watched my friend
come for the
seed he knows
will be there,
I thought how
simple life would be
if we humans would
trust each other and
share the blessings
we have.
Today I was once
again schooled by
a sparrow.
What lesson will
you let nature teach you
TODAY?

Aching through Eternity
Aching through eternity.
How can you feel so heavy
yet so empty?
Simultaneously.
Stone lead hearts
and soul black holes.
Trees ache for the riot
of supple leaves.
Aching wants
are not aching needs
I acutely ache for the return of me.
Empty deny's aching to be full.
My heavy thoughts dream
of veins of empty peace.
Nature's beauty aches to be.
Every single ache,
is a different want and a
different need.
How can you feel so heavy
yet so empty?
Simultaneously.
Stone lead hearts

Sunshiny Day
easy sorrow, today is a beautiful day
I understand your desire to paint things melancholy
but today I'm going to kiss the sky
and give reverence to the beauty I see
the garden flowers worship the sun
and the weeds too
the moist earth giving birth to seedlings
the trees so solemn
history is contained in their branches
they whisper quietly among themselves
hush now they may be telling you a secret
the dandelions a delight decorating the grass
everything in a symbiotic relationship with one another
the birds and...

Luna’s Allure
awoke from a dream
with divine gratitude
for Gaia’s
sentient gifts
stepping out onto
the dewy grass,
see it there
in the field:
fog flowing upward
from the pond,
billowing under
gleaming
moon beams
reaching out
for the stars;
luminous
in the early hours
of dawn’s awakening
levitating toward
a deep indigo sky,
curling
in suspension…
intrigued;
the brume dances
for Luna
in the twilight
with divine gratitude
for Gaia’s
sentient gifts
stepping out onto

Floral Hybrid Beautiful Flower
Last days of Spring
Mostly beautiful
Unless you watched the news
Art is my voice
Let’s wander in the park
Sit by the lake
Breathe deep
Enjoy the splendor of nature

beautifully Eerie...
as sunlight caresses ripples
stirred by a single launched pebble
gilded at the edges
golden in accentuation
like the rings of an ancient tree
highlighting inner beauty...
...of each step along life's journey
spreading ever outward
& that intrusion...
...tossed so unexpected...
...into a mirror still surface
changes the reflection
tis the nature of liquid-essence
you see...
water does not break upon stone...as they claim
ending right there...

Pappus Flight
Hello little bird.
With your melodious chirp
And breast so red.
Eyes locked upon each other.
Else we wouldn’t be having this blink-less stare down.
I wonder little bird,
do you care if your wings are too heavy?
Or, if your feathers are too dark?
Your chirp speak to harsh? Or, better, not phrased in the manner your bird-man requires?
Do you care what your bird mate thinks of you?
Or, if he prefers the lusty kestrel in the next branch or the carefree blue jay in the shrub below?
What do...

THE SEVEN DAYS OF CREATION
See Genesis Chapters 1 and 2 verses 1-7.
On day one God made day light
And the darkness He called "night".
On the second day He made the sky
Parting sea from rain clouds with space dry.
The first plants grew on day three,
When He raised dry land from the sea.
The moon, stars and sun He made on day four
To light skies above, behind and before.
Birds, water beasts, came alive
By His hand on day five.
Land animals, then man, He made on the sixth day,
Completing earth and heavens in their vast array.
Seeing all...

touch me
all
that you
feel
to be
justified,
to be
fair,
tickle
my exposed
skin,
still knowing
i will not
be able
to return
or give
what
your favor
i received.

Clouds Collide
clouds like white cotton candy
fluffy in the sky of blue
tuck together and dance merry
when wind comes their way
as two strangers meeting by chance
eyes meeting and sparks ignite
hands reach out for gentle touch
needs and desires come into light
when clouds drift and collide
within the confine of nature's dome
magic ignites and they coalesce
and thunder and lightning are born
Strangers embrace become as one
falling in love in a dizzy whirlwind
colours subdued become so bright
when they...
